The Decatur Family YMCA has been serving the communities of Decatur, Druid Hills, Avondale Estates, Scottdale, Candler Park and Lake Claire since 1946. As one of the first YMCAs in the YMCA of metro Atlanta Association, the Y in Decatur has been a leader in many programs – including pioneering Y youth soccer nationally in 1968!
The Y is a place where everyone is welcome - a safe space where children, teens and adults can reach their full potential through programs focusing on youth development, healthy living and social responsibility. For generations, lives have been rewritten and renewed at the Decatur Family Y.
