Your Y App is getting an upgrade! 
Coming February 17th, the YMCA of Metro Atlanta mobile app is getting an upgrade. We’ve made it even easier, and more fun, to engage with your YMCA!   

 

New features you can look forward to: 

  • Facial recognition for quick login 

  • Ability to view classes at multiple Y locations at the same time 

  • Share class reservations with a friend 

  • View the hours for your Y on your home screen 

  • Earn activity badges 

    Take a quick video tour of the Y App.
     

How to prepare for the app update: 

  • Find your Y app login email address and password.  

  • If you do not know your Y app email you can find it in the current app before February 17. Follow these steps: 

  • Open your Y app. 

  • Click on the three lines in the upper left corner.  

  • This will show your Y app email address. 

  • Use this email when logging in to the updated Y app after February 17. 

  • If you do not know your Y app password, you will be able to reset it. Simply Click "Forgot Password" when logging in to the app and follow the process to reset your password.

What to expect on February 17: 

  • If you have automatic updates turned on, your app will update itself. 

  • If your Y app did not automatically update, open the App Store or Google Play store on your phone.

  • Next, search for the "YMCA of Metro Atlanta" app in the app store.

  • Do not click "Open" but rather click on the purple Y app logo first.

  • When the app selection opens, click "update".

  • Once the app is updated you will be promoted to login with your email and password.

  • If you have forgotten your password, select "Forgot password", enter your email address and retrieve your PIN number from your email.

  • Enter your PIN number and then create your new password to login to the new app.

     

Once your app is successfully updated, the updated app icon will be purple that fades to blue.

STEP ONE - Download the App by visiting the app store on your mobile device.

STEP TWO - Log in to the new Y app 

  • Log in using the email associated with your YMCA member account. 
  • Check your email for your unique PIN number. 
  • Return to the app and use your PIN to set your new password. 
  • If you do not receive an email with your pin, select "Forgot Password" and follow the instructions from there.
