Andrew + Walter Young Family YMCA

Named in honor of civil rights leaders and Atlanta icons Ambassador Andrew Young and Dr. Walter Young, the Andrew & Walter Young Family YMCA was founded in 1959 and was formerly known as the Southwest Y. As one of the earliest Ys in Atlanta, the Young Family Y has been serving the communities of East Point, College Park, Hapeville and West End for more than 60 years through programs focused on youth development, healthy living and social responsibility. 

Through swim lessons and water safety, day camp and afterschool, group exercise, community wellness, hunger relief, and more, the Y provides opportunities for everyone to reach their full potential. By building strong partnerships with local organizations and businesses, the Young Family Y enhances the programs and services available to our community.
