Pickleball - It’s Kind of a Big Dill!
Join the 2.46 million people throughout the country who are embracing the sport of pickleball!
This increasingly popular game combines the elements of tennis, badminton, and Ping-Pong for low-impact, fast-paced fun for people of all ages and skill sets.
The game is played on the same size court as a double's badminton court. On singles or doubles teams, players hit and volley plastic balls over the net, using paddles that are smaller than tennis racquets but larger than Ping-Pong paddles. Visit your branch or register for a time below.
- The net is low and the ball is light, so it’s a great exercise for people at all fitness levels.
- The court is smaller than a tennis court, which means less running and more opportunities to socialize and make friends.
- It’s easy to learn, easy to play, and easy on the joints.
The Y’s Pickleball program offers a wide range of free and paid programming for our members. We offer open-play events, socials, challenge ladders, tournaments and clinics and private lessons.
We currently offer 11 clinics throughout the week and weekend, an open play every Sunday to come and meet others, an annual Club Championship, a Challenge ladder, and other events to keep our members active. Our members have the benefit of learning a game faster than other racket sports, get exercise, and belong to a community that is inviting and inclusion.
What sets us apart from other programs is we have 2 certified Pickleball pros on staff who help with all the training and events for the members. This means we will be able to take your individual needs and help you reach all your Pickleball goals. Each player is different in their training, abilities currently, and where you want to go and we have the ability to take your unique make-up and translate that on the court.
