STEP ONE - CREATE YOUR ACCOUNT

If you have not registered for a program or logged in to your Y account since November, you will need to create a new account - even if you previously had a Y account you used online prior to November of 2024. If you have logged in to your Y online account since November 15, you can skip this step.

  • CLICK HERE and then select "Create an Account" in the lower right hand corner of the screen.
  • Be sure to use the email address associated with your Y membership or past Y registrations, which is the email address where you received this email.
  • The system will guide you through the process of creating your account.
  • This account is simply an online account, it is not creating a Y membership if you do not already have one.

STEP TWO - BECOME A Y MEMBER

If you are already an active Y facility member or already have a program membership, you can skip this step.

  • In order to register for Y Day Camp, you must first be a Program Member or a Facility Member of the YMCA. Program Members are families who participate in Y programs, but do not access the YMCA wellness center and other full Facility Member benefits.
  • You'll need to register for your Y Program or Facility Membership BEFORE you register for Day Camp or other programs. Our online system does not allow you to purchase both the membership and program at the same time.
  • To register for your Y membership, CLICK HERE.
  • Then select your preferred location.
  • Then, select "Family" and look for either a Facility Membership (called Family Monthly) or a Program Membership (called Program Annual).
  • Complete the registration process by following the prompts.

Don't forget, YMCA Facility Members receive exclusive reduced "Member Rate" pricing for Day Camp and other programs!

STEP THREE - REGISTER FOR PROGRAMS

  • If you are not already logged into your Y account, CLICK HERE to log in.
  • Once you are logged into your account, select "Find Programs" in the blue navigation bar at the top of the page.
  • We recommend choosing your preferred location within the left-hand column first in order to browse only the camps at your desired location. This will reduce the number of options you see and will make finding the perfect camp easier for you and your family. However, you can also leave the search set to "All Locations" to browse programs at all YMCA of Metro Atlanta locations.
  • Next select the "Category" you would like to search from the left hand column options - in this case "Camp." This should return all camp options for the location you selected.
  • You can also narrow down results further by selecting the "Program" type lower down within the left column - in this case "Day Camp."
  • You should see camp options populating in your search results. There will likely be several pages of programs to choose from, some with multiple options available.
  • Once you have found your desired camp, simply click "Enroll" for that program.
  • The system will walk you through the registration process from there.
  • You may also add multiple camp programs to your cart before completing your checkout.
  • Then you are all set for Y Day Camp!

If you have any questions during the registration process, please reach out to our Member Support Center or contact your preferred Y location.

Traditional Camp:
In our traditional camps, we use challenging and fun activities that feature weekly themes, promote personal growth, and encourage campers to have fun with their friends – while observing social distancing guidelines.

Traditional camp includes age-appropriate activities including arts & crafts, group games, outdoor exploration, indoor learning experiences and much more. Based on each camp location, additional activities may include archery, canoe rides and more.

Sports & Specialty Camps:
Many of our Ys offer specialty camps focusing on an array of topics: sports, art, gymnastics, STEAM, teen leadership, swim, and many more. Our specialty camps require weekly registrations. Check out the available camps at your local Y for specifics.

Y day Camp offers families full-day coverage!

Monday - Friday, 9:00 am - 6:00 pm
Pre-Camp: 7:00 - 9:00 am & Post Camp: 4:00 - 6:30 pm

Most Y Day Camps are for kids ages 5-15. However, ages vary by camp. Check out our available camps in the activity finder and sort by age to see what options are available for your child. Preschool camps are available at some Ys for children younger than 5.

All Day Camp registration can be done online by clicking the button at the top of this page, or visiting the activity finder. Or, you can register in-person at your Y. Please reach out to the contact person at your Y for assistance.

A non-refundable deposit is required at the time of registration.

Cancellations must be made two weeks in advance of camp date to receive a credit of the balance of payment (excluding the non-refundable deposit).

For any questions or help, please reach out to your Y’s specific point of contact, listed below.

Pay in Full:
If you are registering for a camp date starting in less than two weeks, full payment is due when you register.

Auto Draft:
Your credit card will be charged on the payment due date which is on the Monday two weeks before the camp date. You should select this option at time of registration if you only want to pay the minimum deposit. Auto draft information can be updated as needed.

We believe every child and family should have the opportunity to participate in any Y program. Those not able to pay the full fee may be awarded partial financial assistance based on their ability to pay and the Y’s ability to fund the subsidy.

The YMCA also accepts third party payment from other organizations that help families in need. Many of our Y locations currently accept DFCS (CAPS) payments. Please contact your local branch and case worker first before enrolling your child in Y Day Camp.

To begin an application for financial assistance, please contact the branch program director.
