Kiki Troutman Learning to Swim

Kiki Troutman in the pool

Kiki Troutman, an 8-year-old childhood leukemia survivor has spent the last few months at the East Lake Family YMCA learning how to swim. Troutman is Hawaii bound for a snorkeling trip of her life thanks to the Make A Wish Foundation. The East Lake Family YMCA has played a key role in helping Kiki learn how to swim and become comfortable in water before her big adventure.

Free Vision Screening for Y Campers

Throughout this summer, children at some YMCA of Metro Atlanta summer camps will be getting a free vision screening. We are partnering with Georgia Lions Lighthouse Foundation and Kia to provide vision checks at 8 camps. If a child fails the vision screening, they will receive a referral and voucher to get glasses and another eye exam.

Photo and Film Shoots - Facility rentals may be available to accommodate photo and film shoots depending on timing, schedule and content. All film crews must have the proper certificate of insurance.
