YMCA of Metro Atlanta Recruiting Nearly 900 Part-time Summer Employees
Organization offering summer bonus opportunities for employees in eligible positions
The YMCA of Metro Atlanta today announced it’s recruiting part-time employees to fill nearly 900 summer positions. Opportunities are available at 19 Y locations throughout metro Atlanta and open to those 16 years old and above.
Available positions include lifeguards, swim instructors, day camp counselors, day camp site directors and day camp bus drivers, among other roles.

New part-time employees who work at least 160 hours from June 5 to August 5, 2023, are eligible to receive a $300 summer bonus.
“Working at the Y is ideal for all ages and experience levels, especially for those wanting to make a positive impact on the community,” added Koontz. In fact, in a recent employee survey conducted in September 2022 for full and part-time employees, 88.6% of respondents said they were proud to work at the Y. Additionally, 88.6% of employees noted that their work gives them a sense of accomplishment.
